ThermoVision LabView Toolkit 3.3.7
The ThermoVision LabVIEW Toolkit is a set of VIs (virtual instruments) for cameras that support alarms, measurement functions, and I/O functionality. Through LabVIEW, you can use these VIs as sub-VIs to manage communications with a FLIR IR camera in digital mode. You can also generate true temperature images from images acquired through LabVIEW, and can use the LabVIEW IR Measurement and Display tools to analyze the temperatures of imaged objects.
Main improvements
- Improved Access to internal recourses for ThermaCAM S40/S45/S60/S65 and ThermaCAM SC640/SC660 cameras.
- Improved stability at establishing connection to SC640/SC660 cameras.
- New example VIs
- Improved example "SetAndGetParameters.vi" avoiding confusions when user tries to modify this VI to assess some specific camera properties.
- Improved internal logic of the Toolkit.
- Support for two new camera series: Exx and T6xx.
- Bug fix in examples illustrating camera measuring functions. The bug restricted resolution of the image to 8 bits even for modern cameras.
- Minor improvements in naming of UI elements (example VI-s).
- Two examples illustrating parallel use of two thermocameras are united and refined.
- ThermoVision RectifyFrameRate.vi is added. The VI helps to resolve discrepancy between reported and actual frame rates found in some old cameras.
- Set up communications between LabVIEW VI and a FLIR IR camera
- Capture and collect images via FireWire or Ethernet interfaces
- Adjust the camera configuration parameters and focus as you view a live image
- Control the camera calibration
- Send any other camera command to the camera
- Generate a true temperature image from a 16-bit image acquired using the camera’s FireWire or Ethernet interfaces
- Close communications to the IR camera
